Peacefully passed away with her family and friends by her side on Monday, November 12, 2007 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick Wilkinson. Loving mother of Paul (Jennifer) and Stephen (Erin). Cherished grandmother of Chad, Kimberley, Carly, Candice, Holly and great-grandmother of Nathan. Shirley will be fondly remembered by a great many family, friends, and past students of Lillian Street Public School. Friends may call on Friday, November 16, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
