Passed away peacefully on October 22, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Ulysses. Loving mother of Dina and Alexandra (Anthony). Sofia will by missed by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and her many friends. Friends may call on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. (time to be confirmed) at St. Panteleimon Greek Orthodox Church (11359 Warden Avenue, Markham). Interment to follow at Westminster Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
