I cannot sleep; you’re on my mind. I hear your laugh, so gentle; kind. I see your smile, so sweet and dear Oh how I wish that you were here. You did so much, Sue, of that I’m sure You brought forth 2 kids that all adore. You brightened the lives of those you knew No one will ever replace our Sue. You were always so caring, from people to birds. It’s hard to put it all into words When you would walk in, the room came to life, You made such an impression, Bill made you his wife. You enriched the life of Bill, that’s for sure. The fact you’ve moved on, we’ll have to endure. Your mother, your sisters, your nephews and niece, Your family and I, wish you rest in peace. We’ll miss you Sue, of that there’s no doubt But there is one thing that we’ve all figured out When you left from this world, Dad’s hand was in yours Taking you away to those heavenly shores. We’ll see you again, but until then we’ll wait And think of the times that make us feel great. It is still very difficult to think of Sue and not be sad. But I know that she has moved on and know that I must do the same. I am terribly sorry for the family's loss.

I am so sorry to hear about Susy (that is what I knew her as in Grade 8 at Woodland Sr. Public School. Sue and I kept in touch until the mid 80's after we had both gotten married. I remember Susy telling me she goes by Sue now, but I kept calling her Susy. To this day, whenever I meet someone named Judy I always ask if their middle name is Ann, so I can refer to them as Judith Ann just like Susy referred to her sister Judy. I will also remember Susy for showing how to get really tight jeans on in the 70s. Susy would say "You simply lie down and pull up the zipper and it should work and in extreme cases, put a safety pin in the zipper for extra strength. I will always remember Sue with fonds memories growing up in Thornhill.

Aunt Phil and family. I'm very sorry to hear about Suzy. My fond memories of her date back to our early days at the Beatty house in Madoc, laughing on the pier under the road bridge, and talking about the silly things that kids do. 35+ years have gone by, but I'll keep those memories forever. I was very sad to learn o Sue's passing . It was an enormous shock to me and I am feeling so upset that distance prevents me from joining all of you at this most difficult of times. My son , Rick and his wife Diane, my daughter , Shari and her husband Trevor, as well as my brother, Bruce and his wife Irene, join me in sympathy and concern for all of you who are coping with this tragic loss. We are all remembering the last time we saw Sue here in Calgary a few years ago. She was young and vibrant then and we will always remember her that way. None of us would have expected to lose her so soon. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days ahead. May you be blessed with the strength to bear this awful grief.
