Tae Su Rhee

TAE SU RHEE, 71 died unexpectedly June 14, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones at North York General Hospital. He was born April 23, 1948 in South Korea, the son of Reverend Young Shik Rhee and Du Soon Park.

Tae Su graduated from Daegu University, Class of 1968. He became an English Teacher at Daegu University. He married his college school sweetheart, Yong Soon Rhee, and they settled in Toronto, Canada. They celebrated 48 years of marriage in April. He graduated George Brown College, Class of 1991 to work as a licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic for 10 years. Tae Su was a faithful servant of God and enjoyed going to church, studying the Holy bible, gardening and going for walks with his wife, and attending church activities with his family and church community.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Gungja. Surviving in addition to his wife, Yong Soon Rhee, are his son Kunuk Rhee and his wife Valerie Ha; daughter, Sylvia Rhee, and her husband Jean-Marc Kerkerian; grandson, Kunuk Vincent Rhee; granddaughters, Hannah Ha-Rhee, and Lilith Yuna Rhee.
