Teresita Lacson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Lacson at North York General Hospital on Sunday July 7, 2013. Beloved daughter of the late Teodoro and Catalina Lacson. Loving sister of Mila, Estie, Sr. John Marie CPS, Cora Parke (Bob Parke), Lucy Chan (Bill Chan). Her brothers Teodoro Jr. and Joseph John Lacson (Eva Lau). She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Prior to immigrating to Canada Terry worked as a school teacher at Immaculate Conception Academy of Manila. After coming to Canada Terry worked for many years in service of the blind at the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.

Our family wishes to thank the nurses and physicians of NYGH Critical Care Unit for their quality care, support and compassion. We also want to thank the Sisters of St. Bernard's Residence and staff for their devoted care and support while Terry lived there as well the CCAC staff for their devoted care and support.

The family will receive friends at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge St., at Goulding south of Steeles) on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 4-9pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Bernard's Chapel, 685 Finch Ave. West North York followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
