Passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Joan Reid nee (Maloney). Loving father of Rosemary Wilcox (Bill), Barbara Reid, Mary Anne Peek (Greg), Margaret Broad (Roger), Vincent Reid (Caroline), John Reid (Lori) and Janet Reid Interisano (Stephen). Also Survived by his brother Robert John Reid (Betty). Much loved Grandpa to 11 Grandchildren, Meredith, Andrew, Kate, Jennifer, Sarah, Kelly, Geoff, Hayley, Jeff, Lyndsay and Jessica, and great grandson Owen.
A special thanks to all the staff on the 3rd floor at Thorne Mill On Steeles for the wonderful care and support over the last years of his life.
Friends may call at R.S. Kane Funeral Home 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding south of Steeles), Toronto on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 2-6pm. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge St., Aurora, on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at 11am. Interment to follow at a later date.
