Peacefully, on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at Shepherd Lodge, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Tinney) for 61 years and 10 months. Wally is predeceased by his siblings Marjorie, Graham, Edith, Grace and Ralph and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends. Special thank you to the staff at Shepherd Garden Terrace and Shepherd Lodge for their kind and loving care. Wally was a longtime member of Bayview Glen Church. Visitation will be held on Thursday July 11, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral Service will be held at Bayview Glen Church (300 Steeles Avenue East), on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Vasey Union Cemetery on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Shepherd Village or a charity of your choice.
