Albert Garcia, Jr., passed away on August 4, 2020 in his home with his children at his side. He was born in Kaufman, Texas on September 17, 1923 to Albert Garcia, Sr. and Josephina Atilano Garcia. Albert was 96 years old. He was a farmer, miner, and employee at Pepper Packing Company and was the proprietor of Garcia & Sons Junkyard in Evanston, Colorado. Albert was a musician with various groups from Fort Lupton (“The Maitels” and “Los Maravillosos”).
Albert loved to sit and talk with people about days gone from the 1930’s, 40’s to present day; and reminiscence about the details. He also enjoyed his trips to “the Hill”.
He leaves to cherish his memory, 7 children, Barbara, Linda, Ronald, Michael, Robert, LeRoy and Rudy; 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; one sister Rose Garcia Williams, one brother Blas Garcia (Chuck); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
His parents, brother’s James and Santos Garcia, a sister Delores Elizalde, his first wife Racheal, preceded Albert in death.
