98, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2014 in Arvada, Colorado. Alma was born on April 18, 1916 in Eldorado, Illinois to Everett and Nellie Reed. She is survived by a granddaughter, Nellieanna (Brent) Edelin, great grandchildren; Frances Jean, Rose, and Cole Edelin, brother Everett (Annette) Reed, also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Shaffer, son Michael G. Shaffer, sister Bonnie L. Rosier, and a brother Bernie Reed.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014, 2pm at Olinger Highland Chapel in Thornton, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery immediately following the service.
