Vernon, Amelia (Millie) was born May 16, 1935 in Denver, CO to parents Amelia Nazarenas Koch and Emil Koch Sr. Millie passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Millie graduated from Westminster High School in 1953. She resided in Denver, CO, St. Andre France, Westminster, CO, and Estes Park, CO. After over 30 years of service. Millie retired in 1983 from US West Telephone Co. For the past 18 years she lived in Estes Park. She is survived by four step-children, several step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; a niece and three nephews. Milllie was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Emil Jr. and husbands: Wayne D. Willis and Charles E. Vernon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on April 2, 2012 at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church with Pastor Ron Bockhaus officiating. Interment at 3:00PM at Evergreen Memorial Park, I-25 & Hwy. 7, Broomfield, CO. Memorial contributions can be made to Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church. P. O.
