Anna Marie Donlin

Anna Marie Donlin, 81, passed away on June 13, 2015. Anna Marie, the daughter of Eleanora (Oligmueller) Enger and John Enger was born at home on the family farm south of Highmore, South Dakota. She was the eldest of 5 children. She married H. Duane Fountain February 14, 1953 in Miller, South Dakota. From this union came 7 children, Michael (Denise) Fountain, Cheryl Fountain, Michele (Larry) Pulec, Steven Fountain, Vicki Young, David Fountain & Richard Fountain.

Anna, Duane and family traveled and lived in many places due to Duane’s career working for multiple newspapers. They later divorced.

Anna then met E. Michael (Mike) Donlin in Miller, South Dakota and they were married June 5, 1968 in Huron, S.D. After they were married they moved to Northglenn, Colorado. From this union Eugene Michael (Gene) Donlin was born.

Before marriage Anna worked at the State Capital in Pierre, S.D. while her children were young she was a stay at home mom. When the last child went to school, she worked at Hulstrom Elementary School in Northglenn as the head secretary. She remained there until her retirement.

Love of family was her priority. She also enjoyed reading, walking, and playing cards with family and friends. Anna Marie was preceded in death by her loving husband Mike Donlin, parents, John and Eleanora, her daughter Vicki, and a grandson Andrew Pulec.

She is survived by her children; Michael, Cheryl, Michele, Steven, David, Richard, and Gene, her siblings; Jack Enger, Bill (Alice) Enger, Janet (Frank) Sisk, & Don (Marcia) Enger, also 13 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on June 19, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church located in Longmont, Colorado. Mass was preceded by a viewing and Rosary. Anna Marie was laid to rest at Olinger Highland Cemetery in Thornton, Colorado.
