Ann was born on April 6th, 1940 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Ann "Betty" (Kabat) and David Maul. She attended local schools in the Lincoln area. As a child and teenager she enjoyed playing the accordion, a passion and joy that she shared with her mother, Betty.
Ann's mother Betty was remarried to Wayne Roland to this union Ann was given a wonderful birthday gift. Ann finally had a sister to whom she shared her birthday with, Tami.
In 1956, Ann married Raymond Andrew Tucker. To this union four sons were born: Raymond Andrew Junior, Gary Lee, Timothy James and Clark Andrew. Ann's pride and passion were her children. While Ann and Ray worked on growing their asphalt business in Lincoln, they enjoyed making many wonderful memories with their family. Camping and boating were common summer activities for the family.
In 1979, Ann and Ray were excited to become grandparents. Their growing list of grandchildren continued until 2004. One thing that always brought Ann the greatest joy was seeing her grandchildren and watching them succeed. She was so grateful for all nine of her grandchildren, and all seven (soon to be eight) great grandchildren.
In the 90's Ann returned to school. She graduated from Southeast Community College as well as Lincoln School of Commerce. She earned her degree in Desktop Publishing. Ann used this degree for several years while working for the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She enjoyed this work and the people she worked with.
In August 2004, Ann moved to the Broomfield, Colorado area. Here she spent her last 15 years enjoying her family, friends, mountain views, her cat Binx and doing countless Sudoku puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Raymond, Gary (Nancy), and Clark all of Lincoln, Nebraska and Timothy of Broomfield, Colorado; nine Grandchildren: Patrick (Amanda), Stephanie (Ryan), Brooke, Samuel, Joshua, Kassidy, Chaseton, Trenton, and Georgia; as well as eight Great Grandchildren: Mackenzie, Addison, Masen, Jax, Mia, Stella, Rylee and the newest addition on the way; and her beloved sister Tami (Ron) Murtaugh. She is preceded in death by her parents, David Maul, Anna and Wayne Roland.
She was loved and cherished, and will be truly missed.
