

Audrey Mae Reichert, Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to the Lord on September 25th, 2023, at the age of 84. She was blessed to have her family by her side during the final days of her wonderful life.
Audrey was born September 27th, 1938, in Kenyon, Minnesota to Arthur and Pearl (Smith) Burow. She graduated from Kenyon High School in 1956, where she was member of the National Honor Society, the glee club, and worked on the school paper. After high school she attended nursing school at Macalester College and Abbott Hospital School of Nursing in St. Paul, MN. She completed the three-year program and received her diploma on September 4th, 1959.
After completing nursing school, she moved to Miles City, MT, to work. She then moved to Colorado, where she met and married George Reichert, making Colorado her home. Audrey had a long career as a nurse, first working in hospitals, then moving to work in an office. She retired from nursing while working for Colorado Urology, in Denver, CO.
Over the years Audrey enjoyed church, bowling, volunteering at the Elks lodge in Northglenn, CO. She also loved to watch and cheer for the Broncos, Rockies, and Nuggets.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Pearl; husband, George Reichert and sister, Ruth Sanborn. She is survived by her sons, George (Rhonda) Reichert, and Darrell (Sheri) Reichert; brother, David Burrow; grandchildren, Matt (Kara) Reichert, Kelsey (Corey) Marques, Nick (Rachel) McCall, and Alyssa Reichert; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Amberlye, Judah, Evan, Levi, and baby Carter expected in November. Audrey is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12 PM, Friday October 20th, 2023, at Olinger Highland Mortuary. 10201 Grant St. Thornton, CO.
