Azaria Elaine Martinez Greenemeier

Azaria Elaine Martinez Greenemeier was born on August 31, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado to her loving parents, Priscilliana Elaine Martinez and John Michael Greenemeier. She entered the world already cherished and though her time here was brief, she touched more hearts than many do in a lifetime.

Azaria spent her entire life at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Cardiac ICU with an incredible care team. She was a fighter and showed remarkable strength and determination from her very first breath, despite being diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome. Her mommy never stopped holding her hand through every moment of her journey and her daddy was so diligent in checking on her every day.

She is survived by her parents Priscilliana Martinez and John Greenemeier; her siblings, Antoinette Lucero, John Greenemeier Jr., Robert Trejo-Quintanilla, and Roman Gonzales; her grandparents, Joe and Donna Martinez, Delores (Alec) Cereceres-Silva, and Leroy Greenemeier; also her great grandparents, countless aunties, uncles, and cousins who adored her deeply. She is preceded by many extended family members who went before her, and we know they welcomed her with open arms.

Her family finds comfort in the small joys she brought—especially her signature bows. They hope that whenever you see a bow, you’ll think of Azaria and her sweet reminder: “Can’t wear clothes, must wear bows.”

Azaria’s time on Earth was short, but her impact is everlasting. She will be forever loved and missed.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on December 10th at Olinger Highland Mortuary, starting at 12:00 pm. The family also welcomes you to the graveside service at 2:00 pm following the service. A reception will follow, the reception information will be announced after the service.
