

We are here to pay tribute to the home going of Batsie Lee Thompson Sr. He was born to the late Mr.& Mrs. James Thompson on June 30 th 1944. He accepted Christ at a very young age under the spiritual direction of Rev. Alexsandra
He received his formal educational and employment certifications withe the following in no particular order: Whitter Elementary, Mitchell Grammar School and Manuel High School. Batsie worked as a chief, martial arts instructor. Working for the Denver PD Task force training department. Teaching self defense including karate and jujitsu. He never met a stranger he was a people person someone introduce him to his passion of 18 wheelers he obtained his CDL and crossed the states backwards and forwards until his health started to take him on a long ride. However Jesus took the wheel on that Journey on February 1st 2013 Batsie Thompson shifted into the ultimate gear and coasted into the trantional state to be with Our Heavenly Father. He leaves to cherish his memory: his best friend and beautiful wife Charlie Marie Thompson
who is a God Fearing woman and a wonderful mother to all sisters: Mary, Lorraine, Stella, Glenda and Rebecca;
Children: Kirra Jones (Byron ), Kimberly Kalembo, Batsie Jr.( Caroline), Kilissa, Kamelia Cooks(Jimmy), Jackie (Stan) Dell, Archie( Edna ), David (Maria) Lori; 28 Grandchildren and 28 Great-Grandchildren, Aunt Dell, & his best friends and family that stuck by him till the end. Some have been childhood friends In no particular order. Wes Bettis, Ron Crockett, Harold Anderson, Don Wallins and Ralph Beechum and a Host of family & friends
