

Clyde Everett McCullough, 73, of Thornton, CO, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 17, 1952 in Hackensack, NJ to William J. McCullough, Jr. and Virginia McCullough Hertzson.
Clyde married his beloved wife Sue on June 7, 1975, and their 50 years together was a testament to their unwavering support and deep love of one another. To his children, he was a constant source of encouragement and love, and so proud to be their father.
Clyde graduated from Toms River High School South (class of ’70). He worked his entire life as a carpenter/cabinet maker in the home building industry in New Jersey, Texas, Florida and Colorado until his retirement last year. He had a love of music, target shooting, cars, animals and was a dedicated Colorado Avalanche fan. His greatest joy in life was being a husband, father and grandfather, known as Pop-Pop to his two grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted wife Sue, son Justin (JD) and his wife Linda, daughter Jennifer and her husband Ryan Warhurst, two adoring grandchildren Wyatt and Hannah Warhurst, sister Virginia Fish of Maine, brother William and his wife Gail of Maine, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Kathryn, and brother Douglas.
There will be a Celebration of Life on February 26th from 11:00am – 3:00pm at The Masters Restaurant - Colorado National Golf Club – 2700 Vista Parkway, Erie, CO 80516. The family requests for guests to please RSVP to [email protected] by February 7th as a final headcount needs to be provided to the club restaurant. We respectfully request no children.
