Clyde is survived by: brother, Orlando (Mary) Valdez, El Paso, Texas; brother, Alfonso (Christine) Valdez, Arvada, Colorado; brother, Walter (Cora) Valdez, Wheatridge, Colorado; sister, Corine Valdez, Pueblo, Colorado; sister, Angie (Robert) Duran, Henderson, Colorado; sister, Dora (Bernie) Solano, Thornton, Colorado; sister, Joann (Tony) Rosales, Brighton, Colorado and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: father, Antonio Valdez, mother, Rebecca Valdez, brother, Roy Valdez and brother, Benny Valdez.
A visitation beginning at 9:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 10:00 AM for Clyde will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at Olinger Highland Mortuary, located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, Colorado. Following the funeral service will be a reception at the Elks Lodge, located at 10969 Irma Dr, Northglenn, Colorado. A committal service with military honors will take place following the reception at 2:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, located at 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, Colorado.
It is recommended that family, friends, and guests arrive 15 min prior to the start of the service; enter the cemetery through the North Gate aka the "Funeral Entrance" located on Sheridan Blvd., take the 2nd right onto Wyoming St., and park all cars facing South for Staging Area “B”. Everyone is encouraged to remain within their vehicles until cemetery staff directs everyone to process to the pavilion where services will take place. Maps of the cemetery will be provided at the funeral service.
