Colleen Yvonne Johnson

Our mom, Colleen Johnson (Curtis) ...born June 6th, 1938..passed away August 15th, 2020, surrounded by her girls and sister Linda...Our mom and dad got married on Jan. 21st, 1961. Our dad, Jay Johnson, passed away April 3rd, 1988, and now they are back together ❤...They had 3 Girls Jayleen, Julee and Jill...4 grand kids and 4 great grand babies. Colleen loved all of them to pieces. Jayleen has two daughters Sarah and Annie. Sarah and Cody Collins who have 2 boys Sage and new baby Kellan. Annie Doyle and Evan Lee have daughter Ava and new baby Zeke. Julee and Brad Lillard have 2 sons Jake, fiance Jaide and Tyler. She had numerous neices and nephews and great neices and nephews, that she loved so much. Colleen had two sisters, Linda Elwood Paulsen and Joanne Snelson (deceased), brother-in-law Bruce Snelson and one brother Jack Curtis. They were all raised by a beautiful woman, our grandma, Jessie Elwood, who loved them to pieces. Along with beautiful friends and neighbors that she shared beautiful moments with.

Our mom retired in 2004 from Mandalay Jr. High where she was the attendance secretary. Our mom always made sure we were safe and sound. Our mom loved being in the sunshine, always doing yard work, packing our yummy lunches with a love note💕, going on field trips, taking us shopping for new school clothes. She loved making dinner, that was always ready by 5 o'clock, because this is the time our dad would be home. We always felt safe and happy. Our love will carry on.
