Darlene F. Johnson passed away July 9, 2016 at the Clear Creek Care Center in Westminster, Colorado. She was born to Walter and Minnie (Carlson) Johnson on October 5, 1922 in Garden, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Johnson. Darlene is survived by her long-time friends Jacqueline "Jackie" and Anthony Battista. Jackie cared for Darlene and they were more like sisters than just friends.
Darlene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visition will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at 9:00 am followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am at Olinger Highland Mortuary, Thornton, Colorado. All are welcome to gather for a reception following the service in the Highland Reception Center.
In lieu of flowers, Jackie and Anthony ask that donations be made in Darlene's honor to Clear Creek Care Center, Activity Events Center, 7481 Knox Pl, Westminster, CO 80030.
