Dennis Virgil Fluman, 91, of Henderson, CO, passed away peacefully at home. Dennis was born in Ridgway, Pennsylvania on June 15, 1934. He entered the Air Force in 1952; he met his future wife Carol Woods at a dance at Sewart Air Force Base in Tennessee. They were married on August 22, 1953. The couple went on to live in Kansas, Virginia and Alaska, settling in Colorado in 1968. He retired from the Air Force after 20 years, then gained another retirement from Hughes Aircraft Company.
Dennis enjoyed photography, his favorite subjects were landscapes and animals of Alaska. When Dennis found out one of his Grandsons was expecting a daughter, he told him he always enjoyed being a girl dad. He also wanted to be the best Grandpa he could be. His favorite place was to be surrounded by his Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and dog Shady Lady.
Dennis is survived by his daughters Denise and Elaine; half sisters Linda and Sandy; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren with the 10th Great-Grandchild arriving in February of 2026. Among the many nephews and nieces that Dennis loved and they loved him is David Yonkie and Crystina Hall.
