Dexter was an amazing son, brother, cousin and friend to all. He had a love for Jurassic Park, the Denver Broncos, Chevy and horror movies. Describing his life was best said by his uncle; “Dexter was tough. When he was born, his folks were told that he would not likely see age 13. While his passing is devastating to our family, Dexter never complained. He always had a smile on his face or a giggle in his heart. I will always remember forever his toughness. We are all lucky to have had him in our lives even though that time was short. Dexter said screw you to the doctors and said I am the only one that will control my expiration date, nobody else. Our family will miss you Dex, you were tough as nails. Thanks for that.”
in addition to his parents, tim and Dawna Schneider, Dexter is survived by his grandparents, Howard and Carolyn Atkinson; sister, Aurora and brother, Sidney, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A public visitation for Dexter will be held from 12pm until 2pm with a Monday, July 25, 2022 followed by a Celebration of Life service at 2pm. A reception will be held at the conclusion of all services. Everything will take place at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
