By August they found out they were expecting and in September they were told it was twins. Joyce and Joan were born on Thanksgiving Day.
When the girls were 13 the Marquez’s decided to become foster parents for Denver Catholic Charities and helped many babies over the years get their start in life.
She loved to travel, crochet, and cooking, making the best rolls and pies from scratch.
Her life was centered on being a wife and mother. She was a wonderful Grandma and made sure she was involved in her Grandchildren lives always there when they needed her and very devoted to them.
