Hey Gramps want you to know that I love and will miss you, tell Grandma and Uncle Charlie that we miss them.  You taught me so much in life Iam sure you already no that. I will keep you all close to my heart always. I will see you all someday, once again LOVE YOU and THANK YOU for being you.

Hi Dad,
I want to Thank You for letting me be a part of your family.  You welcomed me with open arms and taught me a lot of things.  I will never forget all the good times we had camping, fishing, family vacations, holidays and just going to your house to visit.  It was hard watching you suffer these last few years, but I know you are in a better place now.  You will be missed and never forgotten.  I hope you get to see my parents and tell them Hi for me.  It is good to see you'll be with Mom again for enternity.

If there are Roses in Heaven,  Will you send me one, just for me, so I can hold it close to my heart, where you will always be.  I will lay it on my pillow each night as the angels tuck me in.  I will know that you are near me and feel your presence once again.  I am Thankful for all the years you were there to help me through.  I will always remember "My Precious Daddy" whose Love was Honest and True!  Dad I know you are with Mom and Charlie now and at peace. Thank you for the understanding why I am with Les at this time and for telling him it was ok to go and get his kidney. Durwald Walker, or "Grandpa" as my family called him was a wonderful man who was always so friendly, loving, and genuine. He was a man that loved his family and although I wasn't related by blood he and his family cared for me as if I was their own. I have very special memories of all of the 4-H events and functions that the Walker's were a part of. They would be the first to cheer for a group singing songs at Boyd Lake and the first to congratulate you for a job well done on a 4-H fair project. An amazing man who lived an amazing 90 years. He was a special man who will be missed. I'm blessed to have known him and "grandma" for so many years. I know they are both in a better place-once again united.

It's hard to believe that Grandpa is gone, but I'm sure he is reminiscing with Grandma and Charlie, and they are all having a great time. I was grateful to have known Grandpa for 36 years. He was a wonderful kind man, and raised great children. I am blessed to be able to call them my family too. RIP Grandpa Walker!

Thanks Johnny for all the childhood memories at the house with you, Lena and the kids. I'm sure you are there with Mom and Dad having a great time. RIP and may God keep you.

Our Father's life...the man he came to be

As Dad's spirit moved beyond this earth
Released from his mortal life

And what a reunion it must have been!
A joy beyond our conceiving
When Dad met Mom in heaven again
Ending years of dignified grieving

And we are certain Dad is still holding Mom's hand
While she cherishes each moment by his side
And they're experiencing the joy of being together again
Catching up on the years they were denied

We are confident they are also looking over us
Hoping this happiness will lessen the pain
As we comtemplate the joy that they finally feel
Now that they are together again

And though we'lI miss them terribly
And will long for them with deepest grief
We are reminded that love is more powerful than death
And this knowledge gives us comfort and peace

We can still feel their love surround us
Giving us a desire to continue on
To try our best to live our lives well
In the ways they would have done

For we know this isn't the only reunion
Someday we'll be called back to be with them
For life can lead us to greater happiness..."

Dad I Thank You for all the special gifts you have given to me.  I will alway cherish all of our family thing we did together.  There were so many thing.  Holiday get togethers, camping trip, family vacations and just to much to list.  I do hope that I can continue passing on our family traditions.  They were some great ones.  Mom, Charles and you will greatly be missed.  Until we met again someday in a better place your in.  I send my LOVE TO YOU ALL.
