Eugene Sylvester

On September 7, 1948, Eugene was united in marriage with Wyonne M. Gifford in Eden Valley, MN. Eugene’s older brother Ottomar presided over the ceremony. Eugene enjoyed gardening, fishing, and landscape design. He was a jokester and would share his sense of humor with everyone. He absolutely loved spending time with his four granddaughters and seven great grandchildren.

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wyonne and son David, his sister Hildegard and brother in law Don Barrows (Irmgard’s spouse). Also four brothers and sister-in laws: Ottomar (Ella Mae) Sylvester, Bernhard (Ruth) Sylvester, Helmuth (Viola) Sylvester and Louis (Ramona) Sylvester.

Those left to honor Eugene’s memory include his daughter Lori (Dave) Wheeler of Alexandria, MN his grandchildren: Leya Sylvester (Ryan Goff) of Commerce City, CO; Rebecca (Ryan) White of Loveland, CO; Brittany Wheeler of Erie CO; and Ashleigh Wheeler (Timothy Luetkemeyer) of Denver, CO; his great grandchildren, Addison Goff, Reese Goff, Emberly Goff, Carter White, Peyton White, Jordyn White and Bailey White, a sister Irmgard Barrows of Aurora and several nieces and nephews.
