Spending the last few months of her life with her family by her side, Flossie Marie Rivera (Mondragon) succumbed to illness and passed away on November 9, 2022. Flossie was 83 years old. She was born May 7, 1939, in Loveland Colorado. She married the one and only love of her life and best friend, Sotero Rivera, in February of 1956. Together, Flossie and Sotero settled in Thornton, CO and raised three children, Jim, Carolyn, and Jerry. The children take great comfort in knowing that Sotero, having preceded her in death, was there to meet her when she was called by her Lord and Savior. Dearest
daughter of Rosie and Moises, and later, darling stepdaughter to Greg, Flossie was always surrounded by loving family. Devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Flossie is survived by her three children, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Flossie will be laid to rest alongside her adored husband in a private ceremony. Memorial services are planned for after the Thanksgiving holiday.
