He served his country in the Army during WWII and in Korea.
Fred's professional career was spent as a manager in the auto industry. He was also a handyman.
He appreciated vintage automobiles.
Fred was a sports fan and enjoyed watching baseball (Cubs & Rockies) and football (Bears & Broncos).
He is survived by sisters, Linda McCoy and Judy Meyers; brother, Robert Knapp; children, Denny Moulton, Chris Knapp and David Knapp; grandchildren, Laura Whitman, Lee Knapp, Linda Roach and Robert Knapp; great grandchildren, Kane, Elijah, Elyanna, Taylor, Isaac, Lilee, Fred and Seth; and by his friend Helen.
Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Shelly K. Whitman.
