Its been almost a year Papa, I miss you more than I can ever put into words. I know you are with me everyday , its hard not hearing your voice when you answer the phone or when you call me  to tell me what your next plan was. I cant wait until the day I see you again and get to tell you all the stories from my life . I love you Always and forever my Papa.  

Lois & Jeff, Gail was an important part of my childhood.  He was a good man and will be missed.  My deepest sympathies to you both!  

. My grandpa was like a father to me. He taught my sisters and I so many wonderful things about life, but always kept us in the know about the bad things as well. He loved us and ALWAYS made sure we were good no matter what it took. He also knows how to put you in your place (when need be) 
From coaching little league for 40+ years, to being on the Thornton City council. Accomplishing a happy loving marriage for  damn near 60 years. He is so loved in so many places from so many people.
1928-2020 is such a long great life he was blessed with, he’s done and seen things I could only imagine. Life is hard when it’s hard, but he makes it so great 🖤
All in all I have no DOUBT that I’ll have the best angel watching over me, and that within itself gives me peace . 🙏🖤

I know alot of people in this world, 
Gail was a man whom definitely new who he was,
A great business man, those whom had the honor to meet and deal with him in life, work and in how a business should be ran knows exactly what I am talking about, he'll be missed greatly by his family and friends, I'm proud to be one of many to have known him,
I also have along time friend whom I have prayed to GOD that Gail tell him hello from 
myself and another special person, some day I will get that opportunity. 

My Papa was the heart of our family, there was never a dull moment or conversation with him.  He was a hard working passionate man that would go to the ends of the earth for my grandmother, my sisters and I.  I can’t thank him enough for walking through so many life lessons with me without question, and showed me life may get hard sometimes but it can also be beautiful. I’ll forever cherish memories made with him and our families, we were so blessed to have him as our Papa.

My deepest condolences to the family.  Gail was a constant advocate for the youth of Thornton and was a positive role model for the youth of our community.  Thanks to him, thousands of children were able to enjoy youth recreation opportunities.  He was a voice that aided his community to meet the needs of its citizens.  God Bless Gail and God Bless his family.  

Gail Stone was one of the greatest men I ever knew. he worked with kids for over 40 years. I met him in 1994 and immediately knew we would be friends. I am proud to say that i looked up to him. He had a no BS way of doing things. If it was wrong he didn't bite his tongue, he said what needed to be said. I have missed him since he left the league and wish I would have had the time to go see him while he was in to retirement. RIP Mr Stone your legacy will live on in TJFL as long as I am around
