How blessed I feel to have an Aunt like Jennie - someone who I respect and will miss so much.  I am grateful for all you have taught me and showed me during our time together - how important family is, how to have fun, how to keep your faith when tough times come your way, how to smile even when your heart is breaking, how to be strong, how to make the hard decisions, how to love unconditionally and the list goes on.  I have so many memories that I will always cherish.  

Your days as a caregiver and mother have ended.  You took care of Cindy for so many years, Uncle Bruce when he was sick, your mother while honoring her wish to remain at home until she died and then your short time with my mom, Clara.  All this while being a great mother, grandmother, spouse, aunt, sister and friend to all of us who survive you.  Now it is your turn to let God take care of you.  Rest in peace.

I worked with Jennie and can remember having some pretty good laughs. She had a very witty and sharp mind that left her co-workers in stitches. I know that she was so very proud of her son Gary. Grandson Josh was the apple of her eye. My condolences to the family.

We want to offer our most sincere condolences to you and your family.  Over the years, I truly enjoyed talking with Jennie and sharing old times.  She always had a smile on her face, and was more than willing to share her love and admiration for her son!!  I was touched last Christmas when she sent a lovely poem to my 100+ year old mother.  I still have it, and will treasure it for years to come.  We love you and yours.

   Life sometimes allows us to cross paths with people who change us for the better.  Last year I had the unique opportunity of meeting Genevieve as we worked together to sell her home; I was her Realtor.  As I got to know Genevieve, she shared many happy stories and memories of her home.  She showed me photos of family pool parties and Christmas celebrations from years gone by.  Genevieve made me feel like family from the start, and I felt the joy and love she had for her family each time we were together.  One day she and I went to her bank to notarize some documents.  The bank personnel kept coming over to say hi, shake her hand and offer words of encouragement.  Each time I visited with her, she shared stories of her son Gary; she was so very proud of him.  Genevieve had a love of chocolate so I brought chocolate when we visited and we enjoyed getting our chocolate fix together. 
   From the beginning I knew I was in the presence of a very special person.  Her kindness and consideration of people was extraordinary.  Genevieve was even concerned for the buyers of her home and wanted to make sure the house was in perfect condition prior to the closing.  Many people become stressed when they sell their home but Genevieve was a joy to work with and I will miss her very much. 
   Genevieve had strong faith and her faith sustained her through life's challenges.  Funny thing is, her faith and strength helped me too.  The true test of kindness and love is when a person can share her strength and love with others.

Aunt Jennie, I dont know where to begin. I have a lifetime of wonderful memories with you. From you babysitting me when I was very young, to getting me on and off the bus for kindergarten and hurrying to get our chores done so we could watch As the World Turns, General Hospital and Dark Shadows. You showed and taught me the importance of family and always being there for each other no matter what. In 2009 we were both faced with a difficult cross roads in our lives. I moved in with you and we faced them together with a lot of tears, tons of laughter (the Glace Soup and popcorn helped too!) I am already missing you more than you will ever know. Rest in peace my dear, sweat aunt. Love,

Gary, Even though I never met your Mom, I know that she must have been a kind and loving person because that describes the son she left behind. Take comfort that you will be together again someday. Until then, you have a wonderful family to love and support you as well as many friends.

When I came into this world I was blessed with the most loving, caring, and thoughtful Mom a son could ask for.  My Mom was always there for me and made sure I was always taken care of.  At the drop of a hat she would do whatever she needed for her family and for that I will always be indebted to her.  There will never be anyone else on this earth that will love you like your Mom and I will miss her more than words can say.  You are my hero Mom and as you told me, this is not goodbye, it is only a break until that fabulous day where we are all reunited in heaven.  Enjoy Cindy, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, and everyone else that has preceded us.  I love you Mom.
