George’s nieces and nephews are predicting that when St. Peter opened the Pearly Gates of Heaven to him that Uncle George’s first words would be his traditional saying as he entered family members’ homes, “I’m in.”

Fishing, long drives with loved ones, debates over current events, watching the Broncos with Fr. John and his family were at the top of his favorite things to do in life.
George was preceded in death by his soul mate and wife (Carol Ann Shlepp-Porter), parents (Raymond Porter and Francis Jordan-Porter), two brothers that died in their infancy (Raymond Francis Porter I and II), brothers (John Catulli) and (Lawrence Porter), great -niece (Arianne Lane). and his beloved sister (Valeria Jacobs) only four months ago. He is survived by his daughter (Sharon Denny), grandchildren (Amber and Ashton Frost), brother-in-law (Sheldon Jacobs) nieces (Sandy Hoffman, Judy Lindsay, Geri Lane), and nephew (Joe Jacobs). All family members especially numerous great-grandchildren, great-nieces/nephews and friends would like to echo the words George always ended his visits/conversations with these words: LOVE YOU MUCH!
