Jacob,age 89, passed away early on Saturday, March 20, 2016. Jacob (Jack) was born February 15, 1927 in Denver to Richard Kell & Molly Bush and was one of nine siblings. Jack served as a merchant marine during World War II and furthered his career at Fitzsimons medical center in Denver, CO.
On June 20, 1949 Jack married his best friend and the love of his life, Barbara Rose Kell. Jack and Barb were married for 67 years and they shared three sons together. Jack enjoyed traveling, building things with his hands and spending quality time with his large extended family. Jacob is survived by his wife Barbara Rose Kell; Son Gary (Jan) Kell of Broomfield; Son Mike Kell of Thornton; Son David (Myrna) Kell of Denver; Sister Juanita Pross; Grandchildren Jeremy, Jamie, Duke, Claire, Clint and TeriAnn; Eleven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and family members who, Jacob, truly adored.
A memorial and celebration of life for Jacob will be held this Saturday, March 26th at 1:30 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel located at 10201 Grant Street in Thornton, Colorado 80229.
