Jan Ridder, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2020 at age 89. Predeceased by his father, also Jan Ridder (1965), his mother Anna Maria Ridder de Jager (1993), and brother Dick (1965). Jan is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Bernice; sister Mimi Coenradi; four children: Janice Patrice (Lucas), Mike (Pam), Rick (Robin) and Pam; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild. Jan will be remembered as being intelligent, kind, honest, witty, and a man of integrity, ingenuity, determination, courage, faith, humor and abundant love for his family, and for fishing, of course! Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., with funeral service at 10:00 a.m., both at Olinger Highland Mortuary; burial to follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery. A reception will follow the burial in the Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
