Jose "Joe" Estrada

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Jose "Joe" Estrada, age 65, on January 17, 2025. Joe was born on April 9, 1959, to Leon and Amalia Estrada. He later married his beloved wife, Teresa Reese.

Joe dedicated much of his life to the concrete industry, where his hardworking spirit was evident to all who knew him. He resided in Northglenn, Colorado, and was known for his kind nature, infectious humor, and a heart full of love for those around him.

Joe had many passions. He loved riding horses, drawing, and making people laugh. He was also an avid dancer and had a love for cooking, with a special fondness for food. Above all, Joe cherished the relationships he built throughout his life, he enjoyed his bonds with his family and friends. His stuffed animal, "Gorilly", a small black gorilla held a special place in his heart, as he lovingly considered it one of his own children.

Joe is survived by his siblings Tomas, Elida, Leon Jr., Mary, Manuel, and Robert, as well as many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews who will deeply miss him. He is preceded in death by his siblings Juan, Hermalinda, and Eva.

Joe's family and friends will forever remember him for his love, laughter, and the light he brought into their lives. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

A memorial service for Jose will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
