

She was born on May 27th, 1936, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Ellsworth and Hattie Eicheinger. She was the fourth of nine children. Her siblings were Nona, Howard, Chuck, Arlene, Darlene, Cheryl, Ronny, and Brett. At a young age the family packed up and moved to Denver, Colorado. Joyce spent her school years in the Denver area before venturing to California to start her adult life.
Joyce married into the Monroe family in 1955. From this marriage she had three children, George (1956), Bryan (1958), and Wayne (1959) Monroe. With her three sons, Joyce returned to the Denver area around 1964.
In January 1966, Joyce married Philip Campbell. They lived in North Denver, for 6 years before moving to Arvada, Colorado. Joyce and Phil had a son Donald (1967) and daughter Barbara (1972).
Joyce was a passionate homemaker. She spent her time caring for her five children and her husband. At different points in her life she was a leader for Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts and actively involved in the school PTA. Her favorite past times included: playing cards, crafting, sewing, fishing, camping, reading and countless hours of cross stitch. Her most valued time was enjoying the company of her grandkids.
Joyce is survived by her children and their spouses, George, Bryan, Wayne (Gina), Donald (Molly Jo), and Barbara; four grandchildren: Mark, Krystal, Evelyn, and Jackson; siblings: Darlene, Arlene, Cheryl, and Ronny. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Joyce is preceded in death by, her husband Philip, and siblings Nona, Howard, Chuck, and Brett.
Joyce was a loving and caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be greatly missed.
