

Juan Martinez Toscano, 44, of Thornton, Colorado passed away on February 17, 2026. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed. Juan was born on July 28, 1981 in San Antonio, Texas to Bernardo and Lois Toscano. He was born at only 4 lbs and 5 oz. Juan’s mom nicknamed him “penguino”, which is what his family and friends knew him by.
From an early age Juan found a passion for football which led to his days of playing football at Southwest High School. Juan played center on varsity where he received his first team all district award. Living in San Antonio Juan was a devoted Dallas Cowboys, San Antonio Spurs, and Texas Longhorn fan.
In 2008 Juan moved to Thornton, Colorado where he met his wife Andrea of 17 years. In 2009 they welcomed their first born son, Brendin Juan, then in 2010 their second son, Juan Michael, and in 2013, their daughter, Aliannah Nicole. Juan was very loving and devoted to his wife and children. Juan provided for his family by working as a meat cutter at Safeway for 15 years.
Juan loved to spend time with family and friends by barbecuing, hanging out at the lake or just listening to music. Juan's greatest joy was being able to attend his kids' school activities or by watching them play sports. Juan brought love, joy, and laughter to everyone he met. Juan had a way of making you feel like family no matter how long he knew you.
Juan is survived by his wife, Andrea, son, Juan, and daughter, Aliannah. Siblings; Jenny Hernandez, Patricia (Punie) Astran, (Espiricion Rois Jr., aka. Speedy), Bernard Toscano (Yvette), Debra Casillas (Jeremy). Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Juan is preceded in death by his son, Brendin Juan Toscano, parents; Bernardo C. and Lois Jean Toscano, and nephew, Jeremy Luna.
Juan will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him!
