Kathryn Tallman, age 83, of Thornton, CO passed away on April 17, 2020. Kathryn was born on December 19, 1936 to Rev. John and Goldie Hentz in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Leland Tallman on December 24, 1955.
Kathryn was a member of the Arvada Baptist Church for 39 years where she taught Sunday School, worked in Awana, played the organ, sang in the choir, and was the director of the prayer chain.
Kathryn is survived by her daughter Pam Tallman; son Steve Tallman; son Jim Tallman; daughter Patty (Nick) Sharp; sister Shirley Hetke; granddaughter Katie (Corban) Sundsted; granddaughter Courtney (Zane) Nelson; grandson Jesse Tallman; grandson Jordan (Emily) Sharp; grandson Zach Sharp; great granddaughter Lynley Sharp; great granddaughter Sasha Sundsted; and a special family friend Joe Sellers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. John and Goldie Hentz; her brother Robert Hentz; and her husband Leland Tallman.
Memorial gifts can be given to Arvada Baptist 8350 Pomona Dr Arvada CO 80005. Memorial services will be later this summer.
