Keith Arlen Gupton

October 8, 1957 – October 13, 2023

Keith was born to Arlen Roger Gupton and Della Joan (Ward) Gupton in Denver, Colorado on October 8, 1957.

He graduated from Broomfield High School in 1977 where he attended Boulder Vocational School to learn the different positions of operating a printing business and also took part in working at the family theater in Grand Lake Colorado. Keith was born with Beckers Muscular Dystrophy (BMD), which in later years limited his ability to hold down a job.

Keith enjoyed volunteering his services at shelters and the Lifecare Center in Longmont Colorado, always wanting to make a difference in this world. He eventually moved into his sister and brother-in-law’s house in 2004, where he got to attend church and participate in the choir and teaching Sunday school. He volunteered with the local cub scout organization where he would help bag up and pass out the earned badges to the boys. He also enjoyed attending numerous nephew and nieces, school and sports events.

Keith loved sports. His brother and brother-in-law would see to it that he got to attend a few Rockies baseball games and even some Colorado Buffaloes football games. He loved watching the Broncos, and sometimes, from the words he would throw at the TV, thought he would be a better coach for them.

In 2021, Keith moved into Lifecare in Aurora where he thrived, making new friends and just wanting to make a difference in other people’s lives.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Arlen. He is survived by his mother Della, siblings; Teresa (Bill) Thomas, Pamela Paulsen, Kevin Gupton and Kenneth Gupton.

Celebration of life will be held: 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Ken Gupton’s Home, 8955 E 155th Ave, Brighton, CO 80601
