Larry was born and raised in Kansas and in his late teens, moved to Denver, Colorado. He was a Masonry by trade and did this all of his life, but he could do so many things like make furniture, finish basements, and work on cars. He was a Jack of All Trades. He loved the outdoors like fishing, hunting, and camping but the thing he loved most was his family. He married the love of his life Marilyn on July 14, 1961. They had four children together, Gary (deceased), Mike and his wife Jodi, Debbie, and Linda and her husband Bill. Their love gave them 11 grandchildren Nick, Jarryd, and Devin Allison. Justin and Jeffrey Willard, Brittany Fuller, Zach Stephens, Brandi Rudyk, Megan Brown, and Ashley and Billy Jensen. They also have 22 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Larry will be held Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by an inurnment from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
