I knew Leo from the American Legion. We would talk about my grandpa in WWII and his experiences in Korea. I’ve had some surgeries lately and been out of the legion the past month or so. I’ll regret not having one last talk/drink with that great man.... RIP My friend. You deserve it! 🤝

I was so sorry to hear of Leo's passing, I knew both him and Joanie, he was a very kind man, never a harsh word to anyone, he always made me feel special.
He was also very humble, never bragging , even when he received his Bronze Star, a few years late, I remember he said he just did what he signed up to do.
I will miss his smiling face, the hug and kiss I always got when we meet, he was a very special person.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
