Linda Rae Bath, a beloved wife, step mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, on September 10, 1947, Linda was the daughter of Anna Mae and Homer McGeorge. She grew up with her sister Judy, forming a lifelong bond filled with shared memories and love.
A proud graduate of Adams City High School, Class of 1965, Linda graduated second in her class. She went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in elementary education. During her college years, she was a dedicated member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, alongside her sister Judy.
Linda's professional journey began at Mountain State Bank, but her talents soon led her to Citicorp Information Resources. After a successful and impactful career at Citicorp, she moved to and eventually retried from Formation Technologies where she worked designing financial statements for banks.
It was through mutual work friends that Linda met the love of her life, Terrance “Terry” Bath. Six months after they met, Terry proposed in a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown Denver. They were married on August 16, 1985, beginning a partnership marked by deep love, shared laughter, and unwavering support.
Those who knew Linda remember her as gentle and kind, with a quiet strength and a heart full of generosity. She had a deep love for animals and was a proud dog mom to four cherished pups. Her compassion extended beyond her home as she faithfully donated to animal charities throughout her life.
Linda was also a collector at heart—she delighted in finding and displaying unique salt and pepper shakers, Cherished Teddy Bears, music boxes, and the beautiful jewelry gifted to her by her husband, each piece a token of their enduring love.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Terrance Bath; her loving sister, Judy Vollmer; her stepson, Jeremy; her nephew, Brad Vollmer, and his family; and her great-niece, Shay Wende. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Mae and Homer McGeorge.
Linda's warmth, quiet grace, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family kindly requests that donations be made to your local animal rescue in Linda’s memory—continuing her legacy of compassion and care for animals.
"A heart so kind, a spirit so gentle — Linda, your light will forever shine in the hearts of those you touched."
