Linda Sue Garcia

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Susie Garcia on October 2nd, 2024. Susie was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. All who were fortunate enough to know Susie knew her as a kind, loving and gentle soul. She was a bright light that had so much love to give and cherished her family above all else. Susie was born on August 26th, 1953, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was one of five children. Around 1957 her family moved to Colorado.

Susie graduated from Mapleton High School in 1971. While raising her young daughter Nancie, she worked two jobs to pay her way through college where she obtained her associate’s degree. Susie retired from Adams County Human Services in 2021.

Susie was a great lover of the outdoors. She loved to camp, travel, and enjoy nature and time with her family and beloved dogs. Susie is survived by her husband; Nick Garcia, her daughter Nancie (Randy) Condello, Her two grandsons; Gage (Logan) Condello, Alec (Payton) Condello and her three great grandsons, Bentley, Cooper, and Ryder Condello.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held on October 17th, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO. A reception following the service will be at 3 p.m. at 227 Bernard Court Fort Lupton, Co 80621.
