Lorraine C. Snydal

Lorraine “Lorrie” Snydal, Beaudoin, passed away at the age of 84 on September 12, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Lorrie fought a courageous battle with brain cancer. Lorrie was born on June 14, 1941, in Craftsbury, Vermont, to Pamphile and Rose Beaudoin. On June 20, 1964, Lorrie married Rodney Snydal in Craftsbury, Vermont. Their union marked the start of a 61-year marriage.

Lorrie attended school in Craftsbury and later graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor’s degree in education. She briefly taught French before dedicating 25 years to working alongside her husband at the W.M. Hopkins Lumber Company, which they owned together.

A devoted member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 57 years, Lorrie also served many years on the Eastlake Water Board, exemplifying her commitment to her community.

Throughout her life, Lorrie called various places home, including Eastlake, Florissant, Monument, and Thornton, Colorado.

Lorrie and Rod loved to travel after retirement. They drove across the country visiting families in Vermont and New Hampshire, and friends in South Carolina. They saw Utah, Nashville, and many other states. They took a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. One of Lorries favorite vacations was their trip to Panama where they took a boat ride through the Panama Canal.

Lorrie cherished time spent with her family. She found immense joy in gardening, crocheting, quilting, sewing, and baking. These passions reflected her creativity and warmth. Lorrie always cheered on her Denver Nuggets and was a long-time fan.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Lorrie is survived by her beloved spouse Rodney Snydal, Her children Cindy Frankmore, Sharon Nicholas, Melanie Larson (James Larson), Grandchildren: Kyle Larson (Jessica Larson), Kevin Larson (Raylene Larson), Kalina Larson, Nathan Nicholas, Chase Nicholas, Kolten Larson, Dominic Frankmore, Kainen Nicholas, Cassidy Ondrejka, Isa Figuora, Great-grandchildren: James Larson, Brayden Larson, Rylee Larson, Elizabeth Larson, Kiowa Frankmore.

Lorrie was predeceased by her parents Pamphile and Rose Beaudoin as well as her siblings Adrien Beaudoin, Irene Beliveau, Lucille Boutin, and Albert Beaudoin.

Services will be held on September 23, 2025, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Northglenn with the Rosary at 10:30 a.m., Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., and a reception at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Olinger/Dignity Mortuary.

Memorial funds may be made to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Lorrie’s life is best summed up in three words: Loving, Loyal, and Creative.
