She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Parker and husband Michael; her two grandchildren, Bradley Samuelson and wife Angie Cochran, and Mikaela Parker and husband Kris DeGraw; and her younger sister, Helen Sparks. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Samuelson; her eldest daughter, Kristine Samuelson; her brother, Albert Smith; and her two sisters, Nancy Langhoff and Eileen Hunter.
She said that if she was born at a different time, she would have been an architect—but much of what she did in her life already made it so, in a way. The familial bonds, acts of life, and devotion she exuded created a warmhearted home whose foundation will persist because of the memories she left within all of us. We will see her in every flower, in every glint of sunlight hitting glass, in the laughter of our loved ones, and in the whisper of shuffled playing cards. We love you, Nana.
Marjory’s memorial service will be Friday, January 17th at 12:00PM at Olinger’s Highland Mortuary; 10201 Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229.
