

Mark was the faithful and loving husband of Jean Bohms Henson for 34 years and the loving father of Judy(Richard)Scheneman, Jessica(Zakery) Peterson, and Christie Marie Henson all of Westminster, CO. He was a doting and loving grandparent to Dresdyn Peterson, Kairan and Sophia Scheneman.
Mark obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering at Michigan State University and his MS
in GIS Engineering at University of Colorado Denver and began his career at Storage Technology Co. Louisville, CO and worked for General Motors Corp in Warren, MI. He loved the Colorado Mountains, motorcycling, rafting, and spending time with his family in the Colorado outdoors. He enjoyed shooting and teaching children the proper way to handle firearms at the Boulder Rifle Club. In the past several years, he played with the grandsons by building parts for their Thomas the tank engine train sets.
He had a small workshop that he shared with his grandsons to make things they enjoyed with him. He loved shopping on Craig’s List for items for the play areas of his home for the grandchildren. He avidly helped his mom and dad move to Colorado in 2010 and continued to help them furnish and complete their home.
Mark was a devoted brother to Thomas (Kathleen) Henson of Westminster, and sister Lynne (Michael) Keys of Grosse Pointe, MI. He will be greatly missed by nephews
Timothy (Mona) Henson, Daniel Henson of Westminster, and niece Elizabeth Keys of Grosse Pointe, MI He was predeceased by nephew Robert Randall Lathem.
