Martina Marie Gibbens passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2025. She was born on March 14, 1976, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and was the beloved daughter of Sally Maestas and devoted mother to Shantel Gibbens.
Fondly known as Tina, she was a radiant presence in every room she encountered. Her vibrant personality shone through her sense of humor, her daily check-ins with loved ones, and her high-pitched voice that many knew so well. Tina had a gift for making friends wherever she went, always offering heartfelt compliments and extending kindness without judgment.
She found joy in arts and crafts, caring for animals, and exploring astrology. Tina’s love also embraced everyone around her as a dedicated grandmother, sister, niece, and cousin.
Martina is survived by her daughter, Shantel; her mother, Sally; her brother, David; her sister, Crystal; and her granddaughters, Nevaeh and Victoria. She also leaves behind many other cherished family members and friends whose lives were made brighter by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carlota and Waldo, as well as many others whose memories remain forever intertwined with hers.
Though she may no longer be with us, Tina’s radiant spirit and gentle soul will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
