Melvin "Tex" Brewer

87, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2014 in Thornton, Colorado. Born March 25, 1927 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Walter and Ruby Lee Brewer. He is survived by his loving family; children; Ed East, Cheryl (Jerome) Cox, Debbie Ciancio, Denise (Bill) Hollis, Kelley (Brett) Trujillo, and Michael (Shanae) Brewer, sister Juanita Brewer, brother Ralph Brewer, 18 grandchildren; Amanda Chandler, Billy Hollis IV, Shawn Hollis, Crystal Smith, April Hollis, Justin Clipp, Christie Lyman, Ciarra Brewer, Hayley Brewer, Tazzly Brewer, Aytric Brewer, Meysa Brewer, Zevyn Brewer, Poppy Bush, Ryan Johnston, Derrick Johnson, Danielle East, and Corey East, 14 great grandchildren; Braden, Jordan, Aubree, Michael, Isaiah, Alex, A.J., Johnathan, Makenzie, Devin, Alex, Tim, Alyssa, and Evan. Tex was preceded in death by his loving wife, Pat "Dutchess" Brewer, siblings; Geneva, Zelma, Netti, Joe, Jack, Melba, and Joyce Smith, Clifford, Opal, Stanley, and Cecil Brewer.

Visitation Friday, November 28, 2014, 5pm to 8pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary in Thornton, Colorado. Service Saturday, November 29, 2014, 10am, at Olinger Highland Chapel, 10201 Grant St., Thornton, 80229. Interment to follow at Olinger Highland Cemetery.
