

Michael grew up in McKinney, TX and graduated from McKinney High School in 1964. After high school he attended college at Southern Methodist University, on a full football scholarship, in Dallas, TX where he received a bachelors degree in Business Administration and was recognize as The Most Outstanding Marketing Student of 1967-1968.
Michael worked as a successful salesman in the healthcare industry for 40+ years, and also attended cooking school at the Culinary Institute of Denver. He was an avid golfer, gourmet chef, and skier He loved to also loved to travel, work in the yard, and spend time with family and friends.
Michael was married to Margaret Lynne Primdahl on May 28th, 1969; they were married 45 years, this May.
Michael Survivors include his loving wife, Lynne Primdahl Cain; mother Louise Cain of McKinney, TX; daughter, Marissa Hovendon; son-in-law, Christopher Hovendon; and grandson, Bryce Hovendon of Denver, CO; his sisters, Beverly Lee of McKinney, TX and Carolyn Kincaid of Fort Smith, AR; and his nieces, nephews and other relatives. Michael was preceded in death by his father A.E. “John” Cain.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
