Obituary
Nancy K. Gagnon passed away on October 11, 2013 at Bryan Medical Center in
Lincoln, NE. Nancy was born on July 31, 1948, in McCook, Nebraska to parents
Kenneth Stewart and Waunetta Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents,
infant sister, infant brother and her beloved uncles, Carroll Welch and Leslie
Stewart. She is survived by her Husband Henry (Hank) of the home, son Wayne
Gagnon, of Aurora CO (Wife Vicki), daughter Janet Gagnon, of Northglenn, CO,
Son/Grandson Phelan Gagnon of the home, grandson Andrew Emmanuel, of Boulder,
CO, Melissa and Mikaela Galdo of Seattle, WA, Seara and Francis Gagnon, of
Denver, special friend Katelyn Jordan, of the home and beloved neighbor,
Celeste Baldwin who was her partner in shopping! Eternal rest will be in
Olinger Memorial Gardens, Northglenn, CO. Nancy will be deeply missed by all
who knew her and loved her and will be forever in our hearts.
Nancy was a wonderful mother who worked tirelessly her whole life to provide for
her family. She loved cooking, baking and caring for her home, husband and
children and especially son/Grandson, Phelan. She loved exercising with friends
in the Aquacize Class @ Myers Pool in Arvada, Co. She was an avid member of the
Red Hat Mommas in Arvada, CO, she also became a Member of First Church of the
Nazarene, in Salina, Kansas. She loved spending time with her special friends
during "Lady's Night Out" as well as the After 50 group. She enjoyed all of her
church family. Renewed her commitment to her Christian heritage and welcomed
the Lord and Savior back into her heart! Special thanks to her very special
Christian Mentors, Jim and Barbara Miller and her loving and very special Pastor
Jon Fillipi!
Please join us during her viewing on Thursday, evening, October 17th from 5:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Olinger Highland Mortuary. Her Memorial services will be at
the Olinger Highland Chapel October 18th at 2:00 p.m. at 104 Grant St. in
Thornton. Please plan to join us.
