Great grandma and sister celebrating your birthday.  We even bought you a beautiful cupcake (the geese had a feast 😂). Love you with all my heart my first grandson and you will always hold a special place in my heart.

My dear friend Elizabeth went to Spain and took a picture of Omar and her mother on a hike to a place call Ermita de San Miguel.  I had told her that Omar loved traveling and this was a symbolic gesture on her part of including him on this special vacation.  I’m so grateful to have such wonderful friends - thank you Miss Elizabeth! ❤️

I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of sweet Omar.  He had such a gentle spirit and happiness about him when he was in preschool with us. I am glad to see that he was an athlete and did so many wonderful things in his short life.  My prayers are with your family for peace and strength. 💕

I have so many fond memories of Omar in my third grade class. He was such a funny, sweet boy who brought smiles to the faces of everyone. My favorite memory was him not loving dressing up as his famous person for our ‘wax museum’ and presentations. He had the best expressions that really communicated his feelings. Omar will be missed. 

I first met Omar when I was in 4th grade with his brother Derek. Mrs. Yasmenia their mother would come to the bus stop to pick up Derek and on nice days we would all play at the park together. Omar was such an amazing free spirited person with such a kind heart. They ended up moving away my 7th grade year and then once my family and I moved we were reunited at the same school once again my 8th grade year. I had the pleasure of being on the track team with Omar at Coal Ridge and we would laugh, joke and sit and listen to music while waiting for our events. Omar was at Frederick this year while I've been attending Mead but just ran into him a few weeks back at the rec center where we were able to play basketball together and pick back up like we had never left off. I feel so blessed that I was able to meet such an amazing person like Omar.  My heart goes out to Omars family.

May all of the family find comfort in the memories of Omar that you  have in the coming days.   Each memory will be a treasure of your love.    The Lord will bless you with comfort the days that you need it.

my favorite memory with omar was in 7th grade during track. he always made it fun, we would be waiting for our next event and then we will be joking around and he would be making really funny roasts. at the practices we would race each other and we would help each other train. we would always just be joking around and laughing and making the best of it all.
he was one of the most unique people i’ve met he had a pure heart and he was true to himslef and others and he wasn’t scared to be himself. he was a good friend one of the best, he was always there even when i was being stubborn he never left my side. and i tried being there for him. the best memory with him, was when me and him first met. cuz that day was the day i was blessed with someone such as omar.

Omar was beyond special because he was an inspiration to everyone around him. His contagious smile and the joy he spread throughout Coyote Ridge will never be forgotten. Omar was indeed a gift. Thank you Omar, for being my student and part of my life!


Lamentablemente el dolor qué deja la pérdida de nuestros seres queridos es profunda y dolorosa y cuesta recuperarse de ello pero tenemos consuelo en nuestros Dios quien tiene el anheló de debolverles la vida de nuevo y lo hará muy pronto Hechos 24:15. Y promete que  viviremos juntos con ellos para siempre .
Salmos 37:29 en la tierra convertida en un paraíso hermoso donde la muerte no será recordada Apocalipsis 21:3-4 porqué Dios Jehová se encargará de acabarla para siempre y ya no sufriremos  por nuestros seres amados que se duermen en la muerte.

I first met Omar when he was very little. He was the apple of his mother’s eye, and loved to impress her! As I watched him grow, it was obvious that Yazmina was his biggest fan.  Over the years, it was Yazmina who pushed for understanding from the schools concerning Autism. She never gave up, or took ’no’ for an answer  
The last time I saw Omar was at the church, practicing his ’putting skills’ with his Dad,  Steven. Their love of golf was mutual and you could tell he really loved being with Steven!
We will all miss him, and the joy he brought to Yazmina and Steven!

Omar was one of the five students I had in my math class this year. This group was all boys so you can only imagine the conversations we had. Omar was always eager to come to class ready to learn and ready to joke around with the other students and myself. I enjoyed Omar's honesty and kindness in my classroom.  I had the pleasure of knowing Omar and understanding who he was, an amazing young man.  The memories I have of Omar will always be engraved in my brain and will never be forgotten. Thank you, Omar for bringing me joy. 

 I had the honor and privilege to pray for this young man and his family during this sad and difficult time. I was absolutely amazed by the level of love and concern for this young soul. It’s difficult to understand all of the why’s, but we do know one thing; that this young man is resting in the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. My prayer continues to cover this family with the Peace that surpasses all understanding, and the power to see the perfect love of God in all of this.
Omar impacted so many lives and brought together many who did not know each other. We banded together in Prayer, Unity, Faith and Love. May those four remain as the flag over Omar’s living memorial ♥️♥️♥️💯💯💯🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

You were one in a million, Omar. Your sense of humor and honesty were such admirable traits. You were a good pal to Caroline at Coyote Ridge Elementary and, without knowing, you reinforced her innate personality trait of kindness... thank you.  I’m so sad that you won’t be on earth to realize your full potential... I think you would have done something spectacular. But, the positive impact you made on my daughter (and I’m sure many others) is a lasting legacy. We will always remember you, Omar. Love, strength, peace, and, someday, acceptance to your family. 

I never got the privilege to meet this amazing soul. I watched him from Facebook posts being friends with his mother Yazmina. But through those brief posts I got to witness some very cute memories. Omar seemed like such a kind, caring person. Omar's smile was contagious, even through the device's screen. Thank you for sharing your amazing Omar with me. And I'm so very sorry for your families tremendous loss. My sincerest condolences to family, friends, classmates, anyone that had the privilege to know this amazing young man.

I had the honor to serve as Omar’s elementary principal. I absolutely adored him. He brought joy and laughter to our conversations. The part I loved about him the most was how he saw the world. He always had the best questions for me and I did my best to give him answers that would satisfy his inquiries. I feel so lucky to have spent  4 years of his precious life with him.  I am so sorry the world has lost his special spirit ❤️

Sabemos que la muerte es nuestro enemigo y nunca estamos listos para enfrentarlo. Que dolor tan grande se siente al perder a un ser querido, siento mucho su dolor. Quería compartir la esperanza de Dios en su Palabra, en 1 Corintios 15:26-Como el último enemigo, la muerte ha de ser reducida a nada.

Que maravillosa promesa, y el Dios Todo Poderoso, Jehová, la cumplirá. Que la paz de Dios que supera a todo pensamiento esté con ustedes.

Cuanto siento la tremenda pérdida de su hijo Omar. No se puede ni imaginar el dolor de perder a un hijo, especialmente cuando un momento atrás estaba lleno de vida.  En estos momentos pensamos que  nadie nos puede consolar, pero la Biblia dice en 2 Corintios 1:3,4 que Jehová es el Dios de todo consuelo, que nos consuela en toda nuestra tribulación. El está con ustedes en estos momentos, pues El sabe lo que es perder un hijo en la muerte. Además de eso, Dios promete en Juan 5:28,29 que las personas que han muerto volverán a vivir cuando Dios convierta la Tierra en un paraíso.
