Paul Charles Garcia, a beloved husband, father, brother, and veteran, passed away surrounded by family on August 2, 2024, in Commerce City, Colorado. Born on October 27, 1947, in North Platte, Nebraska, Paul was the cherished son of Jason and Shirley(Caudillo) Garcia.
Paul's life was one of dedication and service. He served his country with distinction in the United States Army, heroically fighting in the Vietnam War, where he earned two Bronze Stars for his bravery and commitment. Additionally, he selflessly served the community of Commerce City and the Adams County School District 14 for over 40 years as a teacher, dean, coach and mentor.
He was preceded by death by his beloved brother Jason “Gordy” Garcia and cherished niece Martelle Garcia.
He is survived by his devoted wife Annette, who stood by his side through life's many journeys. Paul is also survived by his loving family, including his brother Francisco and his sister in-law Virginia. His sisters Becky and Bea. His children, Felicia and son in-law Ty, Nicholas, Dominic and daughter in-law Sara, remember him as a caring and supportive father who always put his family first, and carry on his legacy of love and commitment.
Paul was a proud grandfather to Nicholas, Avery, Ella, Lilliana, Madelyn, Kamani, and Jayden. He was also a beloved uncle to his nieces Nikki, Wendy, Vanessa, Jessica, Annette and Nicole and his nephews Marcus G., Cyrus, Lorenzo, Michael, Alexander, Antonio, and Marcus D. Paul left a lasting impact on all who knew him with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering strength
Paul's legacy of love, courage, and dedication will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed.

A Rosary and Viewing will be held Saint Augustine Church in Brighton Colorado 8 August 2024. Viewing from 4 -7 P.M. and Rosary at 6 P.M. A memorial service to honor Paul’s life will be held at Saint Augustine Church in Brighton Colorado 9 August 2024 at 11 A.M.
