Rachel R. Garcia

Rachel was the Greatest loving and loved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many. All who she touched will miss her and she will forever be present in our Hearts. Her time here on Earth made it a better place for all of us.

She passed away quietly on February 24, 2014 at her home in Frederick.

Rachel is survived by her children, John Garcia, Phil Garcia, James Jr. (Tammy) Garcia, Rick Garcia, Mary Ann Breit and Adam Garcia; grandchildren, Tony (Dana) Garcia, Mia (Austin) Mackintosh, Brandon (Nicole) Garcia, Stephanie (Ryan) Thomas, Jonathan Garcia, Jaimie (Aaron) Smith, Josh Garcia, Jacquelyn Cuba-Garcia, Shelley Garcia, Kylene Garcia, Vincent (Shana) Vidaurri, Jayson (Carianne) Vidaurri, Rachel Garcia and Hanna Garcia; and 31 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Garcia Sr.; brothers, Tom Gomez and Gilbert Vigil; and sister, Clara Rivera.

A Visitation and Rosary Service will be held on Monday, March 3, from 6-7 pm, with the Rosary starting at 7 pm, St. Theresa Catholic Church, 502 Walnut Street, Frederick, CO.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 11 am, also at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
